Job Summary:
The Barn at Buttonball is seeking a personable, efficient, and experienced Bartender to join our hospitality team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean, organized, and high-energy bar environment. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and company standards
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware
Operate Toast POS system to accurately process orders and transactions
Check identification of customers to ensure they meet age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol handling procedures
Collaborate with fellow staff and management to ensure smooth bar operations
Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service
Qualifications:
Proven bartending experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Toast POS is highly preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
Must be able to legally make and serve alcoholic drinks
Work Schedule:
Availability on weekend and weeknight evenings, minimum of 3 days per week
Flexible scheduling may be available, but weekend availability is preferred
Compensation: Starting at $9.50/hr + tips
BarBACK JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Barback to support our bartenders and help keep operations running smoothly. This behind-the-scenes role is essential in maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized bar. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and not afraid of physical tasks like lifting and moving boxes.
Key Responsibilities:
Restock bar supplies including glassware, garnishes, mixers, and liquor
Break down boxes, take out trash and recycling, and keep storage areas clean and organized
Receive and put away deliveries according to venue standards
Assist bartenders during busy shifts by replenishing ice, cleaning, washing glassware, and running items as needed
Maintain cleanliness of bar area and assist with opening and closing duties
Support the team with miscellaneous tasks to ensure smooth service
Qualifications:
Previous barback or similar support experience preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Must be able to legally move alcohol products

This position focuses solely on alcohol service, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals who excel in guest interaction and efficient drink delivery. Servers are the front line of the guest experience, ensuring everyone feels welcome and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Take drink orders and serve alcohol to guests in accordance with state and venue policies
Provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service
Ensure guests are of legal drinking age by checking identification when necessary
Operate the Toast POS system for taking orders and processing payments on handheld devices
Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas (tables, drink stations, etc.)
Communicate clearly with bartenders to ensure timely and accurate drink delivery
Monitor guest behavior and consumption to ensure a safe environment
Follow all alcohol handling and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Prior experience serving alcohol in a hospitality setting preferred
Knowledge of drink menus and bar service etiquette
Strong communication and people skills

The Barn at Buttonball is seeking a friendly, reliable, and organized Host to welcome guests and manage check-ins for our ticketed shows and events. As the first point of contact, the host sets the tone for a positive guest experience while ensuring ticketing and entry procedures run smoothly. This is a key role for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and enjoys interacting with the public in a lively venue.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and check them in for ticketed shows and events
Verify ticket purchases and ensure all attendees have paid or are on the guest list
Handle day-of ticket sales and assist with payment processing when needed
Answer guest questions and provide basic event and venue information
Manage entry lines, assist with crowd flow, and coordinate with staff as needed
Track attendance and report ticketing discrepancies to the Bar Manager
Communicate with bar and event staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Previous hosting, box office, or customer service experience preferred
Comfortable using Showslinger or other ticketing systems and mobile apps
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, punctual, and able to manage busy entry periods
Able to remain calm and friendly under pressure
